F*R*E*E Schedule of Upcoming Meetings / Events
Monday, July 12th
: In lieu of our regular monthly meeting, we will be taking to the streets to raise awareness about human trafficking in a local community. We'll meet at 7pm in front of the KMART at the
Shillington ShoppingCenter [600 East Lancaster Avenue Shillington,PA 19607] for a briefing then go out in pairs to hand out brochures tohelp people know what to look for to identify possible traffickingsituations. Awareness raising is working - people are sendingin tips and arrests are being made - BUT traffickers will find otherplaces to run their business [residential homes, other businesses] so we must get information to EVERY community to succeed in identifying victims and shutting down the trafficking operations.
Thursday, July 29th: Join us as we meet with the Muhlenberg Twp Volunteer Crime Watch to discuss how everyday people can identify and rid the community of human trafficking. We'll meet at 7pm at theRecreationBuilding [3025

Monday, August 2nd: District Attorney John Adams and Berks County Detectiveswill present at our August F*R*E*E meeting at 7pm. Mr. Adams will talkwith us about the challenges of identifying and prosecuting humantrafficking cases and how we can continue to support their efforts. Everyone you know who is working against human trafficking here inBerks County will want to attend for this important update andopportunity for interaction and learning.
